Dark |
I wish I may |
I wish I might, |
I wish all day |
That I could understand
the night. |
The sky so full of stars |
Among all the planets, |
Such as Jupiter, Mercury
and Mars, |
Everything in place when
the sun sets. |
There are many wounderous
things; |
The moons such as Io and
Mu. |
And Saturn with its
rings, |
Many things old and new. |
The dark velvet night |
Before you it does
unfold. |
With thousands of points
of light, |
What a beautiful sight to
behold. |
The night with its
numerous galaxies, |
Quasars, quarks, and
black holes, |
It is full of mysteries |
That perplex many souls. |
Ah, the night so dark, |
Yet so full of light. |
With me it has made its
mark, |
It is ever a wonderful
sight. |
